Integrity

Commitment.

The Quaric Foundation applies a zero tolerance policy toward corruption in all its forms, in accordance with French law No. 2016-1691 of 9 December 2016 on transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernisation of economic life, known as the Sapin II law, and in accordance with applicable international conventions, in particular the OECD Convention of 1997 and the United Nations Convention against Corruption of 2003.

Prohibited behaviour.

Strictly prohibited: active or passive corruption, influence peddling, embezzlement, illegal taking of interests, misappropriation of funds, facilitation payments, accepting or offering gifts, invitations or advantages likely to alter professional judgment, non-transparent financing of political parties, and any other practice contrary to probity.

Gifts and invitations.

Gifts, invitations and hospitality received or offered as part of the Foundation's activities must remain of reasonable value, occasional, transparent, and not create any obligation. Any gift of a value exceeding 50 euros must be declared to the publication director. Cash and equivalents (notably gift cards) are strictly refused.

Conflicts of interest.

Any actual, potential or apparent conflict of interest must be declared without delay to the publication director.

Third parties.

The Quaric Foundation verifies the integrity of its partners, providers, subcontractors and beneficiaries before any contractual engagement. Contracts include an anti-corruption clause. Any breach justifies immediate termination of the contract.

Reporting.

Any act or attempt of corruption can be reported to contact@quaric.org. The reporter is protected against any retaliation.

Sanctions.

Any breach of this policy exposes its author to internal sanctions, ranging from a warning to termination of the contractual or collaborative relationship, without prejudice to applicable criminal and civil prosecution.

Training and review.

Members and collaborators of the Foundation receive regular awareness training on the fight against corruption. This policy is reviewed annually and published on this site.
