The quaric.org site performs no tracking. DNT and GPC signals sent by your browser have no additional effect because no data is collected for tracking purposes.
In accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR, any potential subprocessor signs a data processing agreement, DPA, with the Quaric Foundation, integrating obligations of security, confidentiality and data localisation within the European Union. The quaric.org site does not place any tracking cookies, advertising cookies, behavioural analytics cookies or third party cookies. No consent banner is required because no cookie subject to consent is used.
The site uses the browser's local storage technology, localStorage, to memorise two preferences strictly necessary for ease of use: the displayed language, French or English, and the theme, light or dark. This data never leaves your browser, is not transmitted to the Foundation, and cannot be used to identify you.
In accordance with CNIL recommendation 2020-091, these storages are classified as strictly necessary to the service explicitly requested by the user, Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act. They are therefore exempt from consent collection.
You can delete these preferences at any time from your browser settings, by clearing data for the quaric.org site. No other information is retained. No browser fingerprint is computed.
